APA Membership Patch

APA Recognizes Your Achievements! 

Charlotte Metro APA awards various patches to players for their individual accomplishments during League play. All teams are responsible for noting which players earn specific patches on their weekly scoresheets. Below are all the patches which you have a chance to win along with a description of how to earn them.

APA LEADERSHIP PATCHES

Leadership Patches are awarded to players who have accepted
and taken on certain responsibilities in our League.

8-Ball Patches are earned by members playing APA 8-Ball format.
Players receive these patches in their Team packets
within 2 weeks after earning them.

break and pocketing the
8-Ball without scratching
or jumping the cue ball

on a legal break and
running the rest of your
balls out, including the
8-Ball, without fouling
Available to all skill levels.

Rackless Night Patch
(Only in 8-Ball)
Earned by starting out
breaking in a match and
continuing to win and
break without racking
until the match is won
Available to SLs 4 & under.

Earned by making an 8OB and an 8B&R in one night.
Mini Slam Patch will be awarded in place of the 2 patches

9-Ball Patches are earned by members playing APA 9-Ball format.

DIVISION LEADER PATCHES

Division Leader Patches are earned by players
who have played exceptionally well during each Session.
Players are awarded these patches
within the first 4 weeks of the following session.

APA Grand Slam Patch

APA Grand Slam Patch
Earned by making an 8OB, 8B&R, 9OS, and 9B&R in one Session.
The Grand Slam Patch is a favorite among all players
and earning one is considered a great accomplishment. - $5.00
Available to all skill levels.

Top Gun Patch                Top Gal Patch

Top Gun/Gal Patches
Earned by participating in one of our Top Gun Tournaments.
Based on total Performance Points, the top 32 players in each tier level
will be invited to play in our Top Gun Tournaments held for each session.
Rankings are based on Performance Points from the entire League area.

Top Gun 9-Ball Tiers are:
Tier 1 (SLs 1-3)      Tier 2 (SLs 4-5)      Tier 3 (SLs 6-7)      Tier 4 (SLs 8-9)

THE RAREST & MOST ELUSIVE APA PATCH

Seen by few, touched by some, posessed by only the most lucky and privileged.
The below patch is the most wanted award by all players in every APA league
throughout the country. It takes it's place with all the myths, fairy tales, and urban legends such as Leprechans,

 
I Beat The League Operator Patch

I Beat The League Operator Patch
Earned when playing and winning in a handicapped match against the League Operator.
Difficult to win due to the time restraints and impressive skills
of most League Operators. - $2.00
Available to all skill levels if they can handle it.

 

 

 
The 8 Ball Clean Sweep patch is available for 8 ball matches.
Forfeits do not count. To earn the Clean Sweep, your team must
play and beat your opponent in all 5 matches scheduled that night.
A patch is available for each team member that would like one for
$2.00 each.
 

 

 

 

 
The 9 Ball Team Sweep patch is available for 9 ball matches.
Forfeits do not count. To earn the Clean Sweep, your team must
play and beat your opponent in all 5 matches scheduled that night.
A patch is available for each team member that would like one
for $2.00 each.
 

 

 

   


The Skunk patch is available for 9 ball only. In 9 ball, a maximum
of 20 points are available per match. If you hold your opponent to
zero with either strong offense or great defense, then this patch is
available to you. The patch is $2.00 each.
 

 

 

    


In 8 ball matches, if you beat a skill level 6 or 7, then 
I Beat A 6 and I Beat A 7 patches are available to you.
Each patch is $2.00.
 

 

 

 
In 9 ball matches, if you beat a skill level 8 or 9, then 
I Beat An 8 and I Beat A 9 patches are available to you.
Each patch is $2.00.
 

 

 

 
Triple Play 8 on the break and Triple Play 8 break
and run patches are available when you play in a Masters .
If you have already received your first patch for this then
you can purchase one for $2.00 each.
Division. If you have not receive either patch for the first
time while playing in an open 8 ball division then the first
one is FREE

and run patches are available when you play in a Masters .

LONGEVITY PATCHES

 

 

             

  •  500 Club & 1000 Club patches are awarded to players for reaching a longevity milestone with APA.  - $2.00
     Once a player reaches 500 or 1000 matches in 8-Ball or 9-Ball, they will receive a 500 Club or 1000 Club
    patch for their accomplishment.  Please note: 8-Ball and 9-Ball matches cannot be combined to
    receive a longevity patch.
